EN: Sarah Mayer studied Biology at the University of Ulm. After she obtained the Diploma of Biology in 2006 she went to London to work in HIV-Research at the University College London UK (UCL). She obtained her doctoral Degree in human Biology (Dr. biol. hum.) in 2011 at the Institute of Virology at Ulm University clinic (Universitätsklinikum Ulm). S. Mayer stayed at the Institute of Virology from 2011 to 2017 as a Post-Doc in basic HCMV research. Since 2020 Dr. Mayer is a member of the Research Unit at the AGAPLESION Bethesda in Ulm. She is responsible for the “Zukunftsstadt Ulm 2030” (“Ulm, City of the Future 2030”) project.

Nachdem sie 2006 ihr Biologie-Diplom erhalten hatte, ging sie nach London, um in der HIV-Forschung am University College London UK (UCL) zu arbeiten.
