EN: Iryna Gumenchuk was born in Ukraine and got her first education in Germanic Philology and second in Law at Kyiv National Linguistic University. During 2014/2015 she took part in European Voluntary Service in Agapedia Jürgen Klinsmann Foundation in Germany funded by Erasmus+ program. Due to her volunteering, she got involved in the EU Strategy for the Danube Region through co-organizing of the youth camps and conferences within “Youth in Transition”, “Creative Danube” projects as well as leading workshops during 2nd Participation Day 2015 in Ulm and 4th Participation Day 2017 in Budapest. She has successfully finished her studies at Heidelberg University, Master of Non-profit Management and Governance and since October 2018 is working as a Network and Social Media Coordinator at Agapedia Foundation being one of the key networkers of the new Danube Youth Participation 2019-2021 project.
DE: Iryna Gumenchuk wurde in der Ukraine geboren und erhielt ihre erste Weiterbildung in Germanischer Philologie und ihre zweite in Rechtswissenschaften an der Nationalen Linguistischen Universität Kiew. In den Jahren 2014/2015 nahm sie am Europäischen Freiwilligendienst der Agapedia-Jürgen-Klinsmann-Stiftung in Deutschland teil, der durch das Programm Erasmus+ finanziert wurde. Aufgrund ihrer ehrenamtlichen Tätigkeit engagierte sie sich in der EU-Strategie für den Donauraum durch die Mitorganisation von Jugendcamps und Konferenzen im Rahmen der Projekte “Jugend im Wandel” und “Creative Danube” sowie durch die Leitung von Workshops während des 2. Partizipationstages 2015 in Ulm und des 4. Sie hat ihr Studium an der Universität Heidelberg mit einem Master of Non-Profit Management and Governance erfolgreich abgeschlossen und arbeitet seit Oktober 2018 als Netzwerk- und Social Media-Koordinatorin bei der Agapedia Foundation, die zu den wichtigsten Netzwerkern des neuen Donau-Jugendbeteiligung 2019-2021-Projekts gehört.
