What kind of technology do I need for the participation?
To participate in the conference, you need Internet access and either a smartphone, tablet or computer – preferably with a webcam so that the other participants can see you.
It is recommended to install the ZOOM program or use the latest version of the ZOOM mobile. If this is not possible, you can also participate in the conference via web browser – preferably with Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari or Chromium Edge.
Who is the conference aimed at?
The main target groups are representatives of (non-profit) organisations working in the fields of (adult) education, third age, culture, ICT and new media, care and similar areas, to civil society actors and multipliers in the above mentioned fields, and to interested parties / experts from the Danube Region and Europe.

How much does it cost to participate in the conference?
Participation in the conference is free of charge.
In which language will the conference be held?
The main language of the conference is English.
The plenum in the morning on 10th of July will be simultaneously translated into German and Bulgarian.
In some workshops in the afternoon of 10th of July there will be a simultanious or consecutive translation in different languages of the Danube Region depending on the composition of the participants.
How many workshops can I choose?
You can only participate in one workshop. To make a fruitful exchange between the participants possible, max. 12-15 persons will be accepted to one workshop. 1st, 2nd and 3rd priority can be selected during the registration for workshops. The assignment is made according to your priority setting at the time of the registration.
Can I present something myself?
The conference programme for 10th of July is planned in advance, participants cannot present anything themselves.
However, organisations can present themselves in the morning of 11th of July (applications can be made when registering). In the evening at the Social Evening, music, singing and cultural treasures from your region can be presented (applications possible at registration).
How can you make informal exchange possible? What is the virtual coffeebar?
The virtual Coffeebar is a separate ZOOM session which will be open on 10th of July from 1:00 am to 4:30 pm. There, participants can exchange with each other at any time during the first day of the conference. The exchange takes place “quietly” via chat. If you are interested in a private conversation with a participant or participant group, let the moderator know.
How can I exchange with other participants during the plenary or workshops?
You can write with other participants using the personal chat function of ZOOM. In the separate ZOOM session Coffee Bar (http://conference2020.codanec.eu/virtual-coffeebar/), which is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., participants can exchange information with each other in individual video conferences.
What is ZOOM and how does it work?

What is Mentimeter and how does it work?
Mentimeter is a software that enables presentations and surveys with real-time feedback. A user manual is available on their website.
Is there a certificate of participation? Under what conditions is it issued?
There is an electronic certificate of participation, which is issued if you were actually present at the conference.
I have registered for the conference but cannot attend for important reasons, what should I do?
With your registration your participation in the conference becomes binding. However, if you cannot attend for important reasons, please send us a short e-mail to info@ileu.net with your name and organisation.
